"Our campers are rewarded by learning the importance of hustle, hard work, and a no-nonsense approach to the game and how those traits transfer to success in school, on the field and later in life."

Camp Philosophy

Since 1973 Bill Holowaty has taught over 10,000 campers not only the fundamentals of baseball but also what it takes to succeed in life. As a Professor of Health and Physical Education, Coach Holowaty knows that only a select few ever make it to the professional leagues.

But Coach Holowaty and his seasoned and dedicated staff have many years of working with players of all ages and ability levels - from Little League right through middle school and high school. At Holowaty's Baseball Camp, where the emphasis is always on the FUNDAMENTALS, players can learn and further develop their baseball skills and their life skills.

Summer Camp Highlights

Our 2015 Summer Session allowed all ballplayers in attendance to improve their skills, both on and off the field. "America's Game" was taught, played and enjoyed for 5 days. In addition, many lifetime skills were taught as well, from a correct handshake to how to succeed in the classroom. Players enjoyed the beautiful facilities of Pomfret School and received excellent instruction from some of the finest coaches and ballplayers in the Northeast.
